NOTE: ALL Otari 2 track heads did NOT have Edge Slotting
Ampex, MCI, Studer and others DID have Track Edge Slotting...
Edge slotting PREVENTS ridges being cut into the head by Audio tape
over years of use.     So ALL Otari used heads WILL HAVE RIDGES
where the tape ran...   these ridges then collect tape gunk
and can be hard to get completely clean... and cause other problems.
When installing a used head, it is critical to match the ridges to the tape path !!!

by JVC as used in the MTR 10 series machines
Exact upgrade for the 5050 BQII, MKII-2, BF, B2HD,
